As we begin this new year, let us focus on rejoicing in the Lord in all things. Let us rejoice in His great love for us, in His free gift of salvation, in His powerful word, and for His work and care in our lives.

Time and time again, the Bible shows us God moving among His people and His creation. We see His desire to have communion with the people He created, His involvement in the lives of His people, and His understanding and awareness of the things happening on earth.

“For to us a child is born, to us a son is given” (Isaiah 9:6). Pastor Richard shares an important reminder for this holiday season.

It does not matter what others say about us, or what used to be true of us and of our lives. The moment we come to Jesus, He changes our identity.

He kindly lets Moses know His plan because by faith, Moses believes God, but the communication with God brings confidence.

Thanksgiving comes from a heart of gratitude. My desire is to come before Him with a heart of gratitude. To praise Him for who He is and thank Him for all He has done, and because of these things, present my requests to Him.

We cannot understand this life on earth or the beautiful reality of eternal life with Him if we do not have His wisdom.

The Bible reminds us over and over that the Lord's watches over us. 2 Chronicles 16:9 tell us, “For the eyes of the LORD range throughout the earth to strengthen those whose hearts are fully committed to him.”

God desires, and even requires, that He is included and involved in all of our activities. If we are walking with Him, He does not want to be left out.

Contentment rests in the Lord. It trusts Him to supply the need, and in abundance, thanks Him, seeking to honor Him with all He has provided.

The tongue has the ability to set the whole course of a person’s life on fire.

May we wait with expectant silence before the Lord to see how He will care for us, meet our needs, and be faithful to all of His promises.

As you follow him you can rest in the fact that He knows the integrity of your heart and will protect you. As you obey Him you can rest that His will is being done, in your life and also in others that your life touches.

A man whose identity is marked by persecuting those who believe in Jesus is having his own encounter with the living Savior!

To rejoice in the Lord in any and every situation is to affirm His presence, His power and His peace. And so, stand in faith, with confidence, that He will do what His Word says He will do.

He came to them so unexpectedly and supernaturally; they didn’t recognize Him. His words commanded them not to be afraid.

He is “the same yesterday and today and forever” (Hebrews 13:8).

In Matthew 14, on two different occasions, Jesus revealed His great power and authority to His disciples, and He demonstrated His ability to meet all of their needs.

Someday, every tongue will acknowledge Jesus is Lord, but for those of us who know Him already, our sacrifice to Him is a praise offering.

Our battles come in different forms, and our enemy is always the same seeking to derail our minds with the what ifs. However, our God is always the same and remains constant every single time. We must remember this verse, “Be still, and know that I am God. I will be exalted among the nations, I will be exalted in the earth!” Psalm 46:10
