The Visible Out of the Invisible

Hebrews 11:3 NIV “By faith we understand that the universe was formed at God’s command, so that what is seen was not made out of what was visible.”

Hebrews 11:3 reveals two things: God formed the universe at His command and what we see was therefore made out of the invisible. It is “By faith” we understand this.

God made the universe and everything in it, all our eyes can behold! Every aspect of creation, in all its splendor, was created by God. He created it all from what we cannot see.

In case you need to hear it today: God can make everything out of what is not visible to you. God works in places, in ways, in opportunities we do not know exist and cannot see. Whatever you cannot see today, surrender it. You don’t need to see. You just need to believe, by faith, God can make everything out of what is not visible to you. Let God have all of you and all of your plans and by faith, allow Him to unfold His perfect plan for you. He can be trusted with what you cannot see.

Romans 8:28 says, “And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose.” There is so much peace and hope in this verse. The Lord works for the good of those who love Him and belong to Him. We are called to belong to the Lord. Let that be your story. As I love the Lord and follow Him, He is working out all things for good that I might be more like Him.

Thank you, God, for being God over the invisible. Thank you for making all things out of what we cannot see or understand, and for working for the good of those who love You.
