This study is structured as a weekly study, divided into nine lessons. Matthew is the first book of the New Testament and the first of the four gospels. Written by the apostle Matthew, it is the first book to give us an account of Jesus and the good news of the gospel of Jesus Christ. The emphasis of this study is that of Matthew’s gospel, that Jesus is the promised King. He has come to bring salvation to a waiting people and to teach that the way of righteousness is through a personal relationship with Him.
