By His Authority | Holy Week Study - Part 1

Rebecca and Jennifer dive into the events of Holy Week, the week between Palm Sunday and Resurrection Sunday, the week Jesus was crucified and rose from the dead. In this Part 1 episode, their discussion explores the events of each day beginning on Sunday, when Jesus rode into Jerusalem on a colt, and continuing through the Wednesday. They discuss Jesus' teaching and the actions of the crowds that followed Him. The truth that Jesus willingly went to Jerusalem knowing that He would give His life is heavily highlighted, as we must understand that Jesus went to the cross to save mankind from sin by His own authority. It was the will of the Father, and although Jesus had all authority to save Himself, He willingly laid down His life.
